Story
As you will know I lost my Dad last year to a short but awful fight with cancer. He was incredibly strong and brave throughout but a few days before he passed away he was admitted to the Countess of Brecknock Hospice for end of life care.
The hospice is incredible, the staff are wonderful and the facilities are state of the art, this combined made my Dad's last days very comfortable.
Because we have nothing better to do in lockdown, we've signed up to two running events this year, both virtual due to the pandemic. We are running the distance from Lands End to John O'Groats (874 miles) and will finish off with the Virtual London Marathon.
The fundraising is our way of saying thank you to the amazing people at the hospice for how they look after all the patients and their families at such a terrible time and of course to hopefully raise a few quid as they are hugely reliant on fundraising and donations to keep going!
We know that this last year has been tough with Coronavirus affecting everyone in one way or another but if you are able to spare a pound or two we will be very grateful.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and please wish us luck!
